Remember, to truly change our behaviors and thoughts, we must change our subconscious mind.
Creating mindset
In recent articles, I’ve said that we shape our own lives. To truly feel this, we need to adopt a creator’s mindset. It’s like wanting to be an athlete; you need to think like one. The same principle applies here. If you’re unsure about the creator mindset, check my other articles for clarification. The essence of this mindset is recognizing that our thoughts and decisions shape our life. We can choose the life we want. It might seem obvious, but often, how we think is different from what we know.”
Checks list for the first
To start with a creator mindset, first, figure out where you stand. Ask yourself: What’s my current mindset? To do this, you need to look at yourself honestly. In simple terms, notice how you react to things. What words do you often use in a day? What thoughts cross your mind? How do you feel when kids or family ask for something you’ve said no to? And at the end of the day, what do you usually think about?
To understand your thought and behavior patterns, try a simple activity. Start by jotting down words in a journal. Record the “words” you often use. If possible, note the time too. Over time, you’ll see patterns in the words you choose and how you act
These patterns show what type of mindset you have. Sadly, many of us tend to have a victim mindset instead of a creator one. But remember, it’s not your fault or ours.

Determination
After you examine your thought patterns, you must decide if you want to change your mindset. It’s like when you find out your sugar levels are high, hinting at possible diabetes. The first step to make a change is “Determination”, right? Similarly, we need to tell ourselves, ‘I am determined to change my mindset to create the life I desire.
Remember ” Subconscious”
Remember, to truly change our behaviors and thoughts, we must change our subconscious mind. Think of it like a computer: if the information inside is outdated, even if you type in many keywords, the results won’t change. So, the real work is on our subconscious minds.
To change our subconscious, we can use the hypnosis state. This state often occurs just before you fall asleep or as you’re waking up. During these moments, your conscious mind is at rest, and your subconscious is more receptive. It’s during this window that we should introduce the ‘creator mindset’ thoughts.
Brain scientists recommend that during that moment, inputting information through voice or sound is very effective. You can record words that represent who you want to be, or listen to content that resonates with your desired mindset using audio settings. There are plenty of resources available for you to choose from.
After you decide to make a change, start looking for resources to help you. There are many experts, like Louise Hay, Bruce Lipton, and Joe Dispenza, whose work you can find on YouTube.
Lastly, don’t be hard on yourself. You might still have old habits or use familiar words. Give yourself time because real change takes a while
Applications/Actions
Strategy for the application is to use your break time at work or day . Find a quiet spot, close your eyes, and listen to the content you’ve chosen. Think of this activity as medicine for the brain. Just as there are medicines for the liver, stomach, and other organs, this serves as medicine for the subconscious.
Here’s the takeaway: I’ve decided to commit to this myself for three consecutive weeks. I plan to do it four times a day. This means I’ll listen to my favorite encouragement affirmations from Louise Hay for 15 minutes, four times daily, treating it like medication. I’ve tried this before and know it works, but I hadn’t set a schedule in the past. I’ll also continue to record observations about my behaviors and thoughts.
More details coming up
In my next article, I’ll discuss how to maintain this pattern and delve into the primary resources for cultivating a creator mindset to shape our lives the way we desire. A key term is ‘Gratitude’. I’ll explain its significance and how we can strategically incorporate it into our lives.
